Help & FAQ

I am new around here.

  • Most dogs attend twice a week. We recommend for dogs to attend 2 to 4 days a week.

In our experience, young dogs or shy dogs can get overexcited or take longer to warm up if they attend once a week.

  • We have a mix of small, medium and big dogs on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Wednesday is our special day for small dogs. We also include a careful selection of bigger dogs who are very calm. We do this so the small dogs can gain confidence by being around bigger dogs they trust.

  • We cover Stavanger, Sandnes and Sola.

Unfortunately we do not cover the following subareas. Stavanger: Hundvåg, Tasta from Reinskau and beyond, and Randaberg. Sandnes: Bogafjell, Aspervik, Håbafjell, and Vatne and beyond. Sola: Tjelta.

  • No. You can give us a key the morning of your first day, and we will use that when we pick up and drop off your dog.

  • We will read your application and get back to you within 2 days.

If you are accepted, we will send you a welcome email with everything you need to know about arranging our first meeting, key handover, invoicing, and more.

Oh no, what if…

  • Let your auntie know as soon as possible so that we can change our pick-up route accordingly.

We do not deduct sick days from invoicing. However, if your dog is sick, you can request a make-up day. This must be within the four weeks after the first day of absence and is subject to availability.

  • Let your auntie know as soon as possible so that we can change our pick-up route accordingly.

We do not deduct the days that you choose to keep your dog at home, regardless of the reason.

  • Text the auntie who picks your dog up with your desired plan change. We will need to check availability and route planning.

I have a scheduling question.

  • This service is only for existing customers, so if you are one, then the answer is a big yes! Please let us know as soon as possible — the latest is by 08:00 on the same day.

  • Because we are almost always at full capacity, we typically do not have availability. It is also important to keep the packs consistent from week to week. But we know life happens, so we will try to make an exception and accommodate you if we have capacity. Contact your auntie ahead of time and check if an arrangement is possible.

  • Our regular days are Mondays through Thursdays. We offer Fridays as drop-in days from time to time.

We provide ten and a half months of service a year. We are closed for Easter, the month of July, between 21 December and January 2, and on public holidays.

I have a billing question.

  • Payments are issued every month in advance. You will get the invoice on the same day every month through email. You can also set up eFaktura.

  • Don’t worry, we have already accounted for public holidays in the pricing.

  • We do not deduct the days that you choose to keep your dog at home, regardless of the reason.

Bonus

  • We post lots of live videos and pictures to our Snapchat @doggydaycarerog during our trips. We later post some of those to our private customer group on Facebook.

  • You can email us at DoggyDayCareRogaland@Gmail.com.

  • We are not hiring at this time.
